"The property was very well maintain, that was inside and outside as well. also very clean, had everything we needed, what a beautiful view from the upstair bedroom. and every night we saw deer walking around out back. again a super clean place and the host wanted to make sure we had everything we needed... we will be back again! "Futon room has been upgraded to a double or queen bed. Only stayed one night but the house seemed well equipped for a longer stay. One bathroom was, near all 3 bedrooms. The other was on the other side of the house, away from the bedrooms, but greatly appreciate having 2 full bathrooms available. Front door lock was a little finicky but worked well once we understood how it worked. All bedrooms had TVs. Large dining table. Comfy living room. Thank you"

"This was our second stay and it did not disappoint! The welcome basket was so sweet and she always leaves bowls out for our service dog. The place is clean and welcoming. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but last time it was great! Deborah responded immediately to messages. I can’t say enough good about or experience. Lake view is wonderful and we walked down to the lake our first night there. Truly a blessing."

"This was the perfect place to spend a couple of wintery days with the dogs. I only used the downstairs but the kitchen was incredibly well equipped and the Ruko TV's in all rooms were much appreciated. I had a couple of questions during my stay and Jennie replied within minutes. (Make sure & visit the Marine Sanctuary Museum if you go)"

Bring walking beach shoes for rocks.One item that the owner can't do anything about..The one item, that is a big one, is that the only way to get to the house on North point shores is by using Misery Bay road past the Alpena cement factory and quarry. "The renovations done to this house have made it an absolutely wonderful getaway up north. The finishes and furnishings are perfect. We stayed for a long weekend with two families very comfortably. Kudos to the hosts, this was a wonderful place and we’d be happy to come back again!"
