"This a small Ryokan which is very authentic Japanese style. No English spoken but this adds to the authenticity. We loved the natural accommodation which was exactly as shown on the website. Excellent meal provided in the evening and an enormous breakfast which we were not expecting so was a bonus. We lounged about in out Japanese clothes provided and Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this clean and peaceful retreat. "

"We really enjoyed our traditional Japanese room complete with our own private onsen. There is very little English spoken at the hotel but a lot of effort put into ensuring we were comfortable. It is a 20 minute walk from the train station but that was fine and a nice relaxing way to end the day. There is also a hotel shuttle but it is very crowded so we opted to walk instead. "Super large room with a great view of the valley. Very clean. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Hotel temperature was just right. The Onsen was spectacular. 1 indoor and 4 varying temperature outdoor pools surrounded by nature. We reserved the dinner and breakfast as the hotel is remote. The food was great! Highly recommend. Avoid walking up to it from the main road. After taking the shuttle bus to Hotel Okada, either get the front desk at Hotel Okada to call for a shuttle to take you...
