"The cabin stay is prwtty private. I had no cell service so I had to you wifi calling mode which doesn't bother me at all. The cabin does have decent wifi. The communication with the host was good on day of arrival."

"The cabin was comfortably furnished and inviting. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The front porch was a peaceful setting to enjoy nature. There was a pond, a fire pit, and a lot of nature to observe in and around the cabin. Even in the rustic setting, the state of the art TVs had a good variety of channels and programming. The one drawback was the bed which was hard and lumpy at the same time. If you have back or hip problems, bring a mattress pad. "

"The inside of the cabin is adorable and they have thought of your every need. It is comfortable and well stocked.We walked up the trail leading to the Hatfield Family Cemetery, and visited the museum as well A lot of WV history in such a small museum. The Lady running the store/museum was very nice and very happy to answer all of our questions about the Hatfield and McCoy feud.She had much interesting information being a direct descendent to Devil Ance Hatfield."

"This place was a wonderful place to stay the host Gary is incredible. The house was very clean and only a short mile to the trail system down the road looks like very nice neighborhood wasn't worried about anything what do ever. Has everything you need at the house including firewood bathroom utensils and all other necessities.i would definitely think about staying there again and if you are looking and pick this place you won't be sorry!"

"The check-in process was very easy, just make sure you check your messages before arriving so you can get the code while you have cell service. There is wifi access once you check in. The cabin was very clean and cozy with plenty of space for myself, my husband and 3 children (16-24yrs) to enjoy time together without getting on each others nerves lol. "There were 8 adults and 2 children (5,10). There was plenty of room for everyone. The deck was awesome, though pretty chilly at night. The half bath accessed from the deck was convenient. There was a pleasant mix of modern and antique. The kitchen was fabulous (the large sinks definitely a plus!). For trail riders, it was a bit luxurious, but not so we were uncomfortable.
