"My husband and I spent a few nights here for our 10 year anniversary. The resort was great. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we needed, the dining options, and the pool behind the spa. The river pool was a bit too crowded with children for us so we stayed away from that. The Mill was a great place for breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed dinner at The James River Grille twice. "This room was clean and well-maintained. The people were very friendly. Convenient to downtown Manteo and about 10-15 from Jennette’s Pier at Nags Head. Only negative is there’s just one parking space per room, but for most people that is probably just fine. A cute and comfortable place to stay. Would go back and would recommend. "

"Lena was Great at check-in! She informed that she wsan't sure if our room was ready yet, but had someone go check for us. I asked if we could go ahead and park and we would just walk to the beach for a little bit, which she said we could do. Our room actually was ready when the person came back to let her know. This hotel was better than I expected! We had Room 612, which was a very spacious room. We had 2 beds and toward the back of the room, there was a sofa (Pull out bed), with a TV there...
