When we were there we ate both dinner and breakfast outside which was lovely, again looking over extensive grounds (although oddly the second tier of the garden below the main level was not well maintained at all) However the feel of the place was a bit chaotic and we heard a number of guests complaining about things which should have been easily remedied (tvs not right, AC not entirely working and so on) We had a lovely dinner but one of our servers made...

Rooms not been cleaned for a long while 1st room covered in dust and bathroom stinking of sewers. 2nd room covered in dust, Dried blood on bed cover and pillow cases, tiles falling off walls in bathroom. "We had a two night stay here. In a standard room which was a ‘cosy double’ the room felt small but it was a comfortable sleep. The room was clean, great location also the staff were very helpful. I did not get a chance to use the spa facilities so I can’t comment on that area. If I was to return I would book a bigger room. Overall great stay."
