"Lovely staff and nice hotel - clean and nice decor. There was a lack of staff on the bar, it was a Saturday evening and we had difficulty ordering food. The restaurant was full . We ordered bar food that took ages to arrive and was of very poor quality and cold ."

"Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds . Property is beautiful- pictures shown are accurate. Lift! Very convenient walking distance to centre of Chichester, the Festival Theatre and other attractions but just at the edge of the pedestrian area so I could have a taxi pick me up in front when I left"

"An amazing little cottage in beautiful surroundings. We loved being able to wander the stunning grounds, and the provided milk, cereal and eggs was a lovely touch. The cottage is perfect, clean and comfortable, and dog friendly too!"

"Very welcoming and a cosy room in a separate part of the building - the old coach house. Lovely to stay in such an historic building. Continental breakfast was delicious and is included in stay. Very convenient for Chichester Festival Theatre and City Centre. "

"We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a modern ensuite. The pub itself was charming in a beautiful area,the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was made to order with a variety of choices and the dinner was absolutely delicious. As a group of four having a ladies get away it was absolutely perfect. We would all highly recommend a visit here."

"A bargain for Sunday night into Monday morning and right on the doorstep of who I was meeting. Lovely spot right by Chichester Cathedral with underground parking very near and easily accessible presuming you are OK on your legs and don't mind steps. "

"The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained. "We were fortunate to come across room 61 - the Penthouse. My sister and I took my mum (late 70’s) to visit relatives and it was such a treat to have this amazing space to spend quality time. With a twin room, king room, huge lounge/diner and lobby space with fridge and coffee, it really did cater to our needs. Would suit 2 couples or a couple with older kids. "One of the best places to stay with a dog. Staff are very dog friendly and the property is quite large to walk your dog around so it's very convenient. The rooms also have a good sized bath so it was excellent! "
