Located in the historic centre of Chichester, the location is hard to beat. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check-in desk is in the pub, which has a limited evening menu, but there are plenty of eateries within short-walking distance. The rooms are quite large and charmingly named after past cathedral bishops. The pub can be noisy to the early hours as it also functions as a night club. If you're noise sensitive, another venue would be a better choice. If you're into clubbing, then it's a short walk to your room!

Near to the station, good spacious room. Quite a lively pub and others nearby with late opening, so not the place for people wanting peace and quiet and an early night, but good value and wry friendly. Good breakfast!

Very friendly staff, excellent location but the room whilst clean was dated. Towel rail half fallen off the wall, shower head blocked, plug socket half out and no shampoo in the dispenser. Nice touch to put a bottle of bubbles in the room though. Oh and solid tasty breakfast !

The room was clean and had a fan as there wasn’t air conditioning. Bottle of bubbles and glasses left in the room on arrival. Friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast! Ear plugs supplied due to the late music in the bar.

Noise from street - impossible to sleep plus baking hot. I had booked well in advance and would have expected a quiet room as was there on business. The ear plugs on the bedroom lamp table were a thoughtful gesture but a sign of likely interrupted sleep.

Absolute amazing place to stay and the staff were so so friendly, always smiling, in a good mood and happy to help. The breakfast selection was brilliant from cereal to croissants to eggs benedict royale. Room was extremely clean on 1st inspection and was continued throughout the stay by the maids. Bar was awesome too. Dedicated parking too which was very helpful and not like other properties in area. We will definitely be staying here again 100%
