"Great stay. I have been to New Orleans countless times. Have stayed in so many different hotels throughout Quarter and near the casino downtown. Had my favorites where I would continue to go back. Never stayed in Garden District. The hotel requires a taxi/Uber to get to the Quarter (though I'm from NYC and walked it a couple of times). The hotel was in great condition. Well maintained. "What a beautiful property! VERY quiet and peaceful. Be aware that there is no elevator and you have to walk up a high steep flight of stairs with your luggage if you’re on the second floor. Also, there’s no staff apparent. You enter the front door and room door with a code. But if you had a problem, you just texted their phone and someone answered promptly to help. As I left I ran into the cleaning person. She was SO nice and friendly. We chatted a bit and at the end she gave me a hug. So...
