"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). "Everything was great, two very minor things. The radiator in the bathroom was emitting more heat than a nuclear power ststion, could do with truning down a tad. Was actually to hot to stay in the bathroom with the door closed. And the broadband was very slow. But in the grand scheme of things, nothing to worry about."

"This was a stay in a lovely castle! There are ruins on the property but it adds to the charm. The grounds are maintained beautifully, our room was gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed. The staff could not be more professional, thoughtful and helpful. We had a lovely dinner and delicious breakfast in the castle’s hall. This stay has been on my bucket list for many years and Amberley castle fulfilled it perfectly!"

"It was a gem in the neighborhood and its under renovation but it did not interfere with our quiet time. The updated rooms are small but modern and clean. They served a hot breakfast on the roof top terrace, and it was excellent! I would definitely go back again . Thanks to all the staff!"
