"Clifton Beach lodge was a fantastic place to stay on our journey along the Great Ocean Road - only a 20 minute drive to The 12 Apostles and Princetown - home to delicious ice cream and an idyllic swimming spot - our lodge was immaculately clean and well stocked with tea and coffee "

"The only positive thing about this property is that it's in 3 km from 12 Apostles. It is very old, broken property. It needs to be cleaned up and renovated. Shower door missed half of it, lots of dust and dirt everywhere. "

"Very clean and basic. It's an easy 2km walk into town along the beach. Good kitchen and shower was great. Cons : Unfortunately there's no air conditioning in the bedrooms (small portable fan though). Even with the windows open and it only being 24C it was stuffy and we didn't have a great sleep. If it was hot weather, it would be unbearable. Towels were really thin Toilet seat kept falling down A coffee machine would be a nice addition. It really wasn't value for money. Wouldn't stay...

"Upgraded our room at no extra cost and messaged us in a timely manner. Room provides shampoo, conditioner etc. Great for a short stay"

"Clean room well presented. Very helpful owner who gave us lots of useful local info. Easy walking distance to the centre of town. Convenient car access (about1.5hrs) to the 12 Apostles by the B100. "

"Room was not clean dirty towels cups and unmade bed. Property owners were not available. It was the worst experience. We had to book else where and now no refund is being processed we are completely disgusted in the service from Expedia and the Rayville boat house it’s unacceptable. We drove 3 hours to find a room unusable and then not being able to get in contact with the owner then they contact back hours later after we had to find somewhere else. Worst experience. "

"Pros: good location to centre of town and the beach, large carpark (although it doesn’t seem to be just for the motel like advertised), room appears to have been refurbed recently Cons: overpriced for what else is available nearby. staff are nowhere to be found during the whole stay, during check in i was able to see the full names of the other guests of the hotel where the key collection was & the main door was never locked. Housekeeping did not happen they just put some towels on a chair &...

"We had rented the cottage and loved it for privacy and convenient parking. It made handling the bags easy. There wasn’t a restaurant or any food included, but the recommended nearby restaurants turned out to be a delightful experience. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Just make sure to arrive before 5:30 PM as we were left with the understanding that staff were gone after that time. "

"Parking was really tight, but you are right in front of your room! Just across the street is the beach and visitor center. Close to the stores and shops! Wonderful. Nice and quiet. Beds were comfortable. BEST SHOWER EVER! "
