"Ideal room for a couples nights in the centre of town. Had everything we needed. Only downfall was the shower and cooker. Shower pressure and temperature wasn’t good. Kept going from scolding hot to freezing cold with very little pressure. The cooker control knobs did not work properly and at one point wouldn’t turn off (very dangerous) so we had to unplug from the wall. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. "

We were given an accessible room, even though I had not booked that, and when we asked if it was possible to switch we were given a multitude of reasons why we shouldn’t. Upon check in, our first encounter with the staff member present felt strange. We were asked if we had stayed there previously, we hadn’t, we were asked how we got there, by cab, we were told when breakfast was served and given our room keys. "The staff were so lovely and the dinner menu was especially enjoyable. Everything was clean and had everything needed. The location is great and makes it easy to walk on the waterfront path to the shops and restaurants. Lovely!"

"From the outset the reception was chaotic with lots of noisey people. I had to queue for self check-in. I queried why there was a £5 car parking charge when this hadn't been pointed out prior to my booking. I asked why this was and he said because I booked with Expedia. So be careful. The hotel was tired and not worth the money."
