"We booked the sea-view room and had a superb experience. The room was spotless, and the housekeeping was truly top-notch with great attention to detail and beautiful decorations throughout.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and everything looked and tasted great.
On weekends, they even have a live band performing at the bar, which added a really nice atmosphere to the stay.
As for getting into the city, we used Grab, and it was...

"We love staying at the Penang Marriott. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We always book a Club Room and find the staff who serve there absolutely A1, truly a home from home! Hats off to Samson and his team. He is a smashing fellow, very engaging and could not do enough for us, when we were in the Club. The Marriott are lucky to have him.
We are regulars at the Hotel and will definitely continue to book in the future.

In fact, there are two multi story hotels right next door where you can get a double room and breakfast for less than $80.00, whereas this hotel charges $250/night. f one wants to experience the hotel, just take the guided visit, but stay at another hotel. "This was a wonderful surprise. Location was a little outside the central hub but 10 min walk isn't far. The room was amazing, clean and fresh. Gives a boutique vibe. The minibar is free and the room service was super affordable. The pool was lovely great views for sunset. Absolutely loved my stay here"

"We loved staying here, and the location was perfect, right across from the Blue Mansion. The open snack bar and breakfast were excellent as well. The building itself is beautiful and, as a historic property, it may not have all the newest features, but it has so much character and charm.
The best part of our stay was definitely the staff. They made us feel like family, and everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. We were very sad to leave the hotel!"
