Get ready for sand and sun! 3 minutes from the beach, this house has it all! Outdoor shower to rinse off the sand, beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards. Near the cruise port, beach, convention center, Strand shopping, Moody Gardens and restaurants. Enjoy the sea breeze from your private balcony. Cook and eat out on the patio below,providing space to unwind. Just six blocks from the beach. Close to restaurants. Moody Gardens 10 minutes away. Private driveway can accommodate trailers. Large playground, ball park, and sand volleyball court 4 blocks away. San Luis Convention Center less than 1 mile away.

Surveillance devices are located facing the front stairway and back stairway for your protection and ours. They record video and audio.

We are API integrated through a third party platform, AirBnB allows this. It's just a $200 hold on the card during your stay, and will be released after checkout. You can view this help article and verify that API integrated accounts are able to collect renter agreements and security deposits. I am sorry if this doesn't sit well with you, it's normal business practice with API integrated hosts. https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/140. We are 5* and SuperHost status and it's only a short hold on your card, not a charge. :-) We use a hosting platform (OwnerRez) and require it prior to releasing the door codes.

Sisters Cruise

We needed a place to sleep the night before our cruise set sail. The two bathrooms were a great bonus! The one to the back of the place was huge and since we were all family, more than one could be drying hair or putting on makeup at a time. Communicating with Ruth was very easy and she was timely. Would definately recommend!

Quick Summer Family Getaway

The house was clean and comfortable, great for a little family trip. The kitchen was well stocked and they provided coffee which was nice. The host Ruth was helpful with any questions. We enjoyed our stay for a few days while the family had fun at the beach.

AC went out

Excellent accommodations! Very quick response to questions. Check in process very easy. However, air conditioning went out our first night in the July heat. I did wait until 7 o’clock the next morning to notify the owner. They were very quick to respond and did have air conditioning back on within approximately six hours of notification. Rental 2 nights….so 42 hours and was without AC for approximately half of that. Granted, once owner was notified, it was only about six hours. However, I do feel some sort of reimbursement should have been provided. Multiple attempts made, and owner declined.

THE guest enjoyed the cottage. They used the living room TV. Only problem we had was cooking. The pots and pans were not big enough for what we cooked. However we managed. Thanks for the fun time.

Great Stay

Really nice accommodation for the seven of us. We stayed prior to our cruise and it was an awesome place. The only thing I would recommend is larger soft blankets, although being in Texas you don’t usually need blankets!

Galveston getaway

Smartly updated two bedroom house not far from the seawall. Very clean and fresh. Great for couple or smaller group. Two bathrooms were a plus. We would stay again without hesitation.

Exceeded expectations

We had an absolute wonderful time staying at this house. A close walk to the Seawall, beach, water and plenty of restaurants. The house is well stocked, communication was excellent and the neighbors was quiet. would highly recommend staying here.

Very Clean!

Super clean home with friendly, fast communication with the host. Location is close to groceries, restaurants, etc, but located on a pretty busy road with not much to view from the balconies. Maybe this is a common thing for Galveston cottages, but the big drawback for us was that all the windows were shuttered at least halfway or all the way from the outside. Luckily we weren’t in the house much during the day. The house is clean and painted brightly, but if you want to let light in, this wouldn’t be the house for you. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Neat house! Very clean!

Overall, the property was great! Very cute, updated and clean! Our only issue was finding it in the dark. Our map was indicating the property was in the prior block and it was very tough to see any addresses in dark. Had to call property manager, but she was very helpful! Overall, five stars! She also allowed us a late checkout before we left on cruise!

Perfect house and location!

We stayed here (myself, my husband, our 9, 8 and almost 2 year old) for a weekend. It was a great location for the beach, restaurants, the pleasure pier, and Moody Gardens. The house was so lovely, had wonderful amenities and was exactly as described. The communication with our host, Ruth, was wonderful as well. We would definitely stay here again!
