"It was located in the heart of the city. I liked the atmosphere inside the hotel. Very professional and service was impeccable. Parking was tough but the valet service took care of that issue."

"Check-in easy. Front desk staff very clear and helpful. Safe place--need room key to go to your floor. Nice amenities, restaurant staff very friendly. Rooftop is a special place, and will bring us back if ever visiting family. Views are just as spectacular in the daytime as night time. Walking distance to 100 restaurants. "

"Loved everything about my stay here at The River Inn. The Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The room/suite was very spacious and comfortable feeling like a home. It’s literally 10 minutes from The Wharf which is the waterfront with great restaurants and fun nightlife. Very easy 30min drive to watch The Commanders (NFL). And they have complimentary bikes to ride around historic DC. Couldn’t have asked for a better bang for my buck. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the experience even more special. Couple of things, the shower tub did take a while to drain the water, and it was hard to adjust the temperature to lukewarm. There was also a false fire alarm drill that had my family and I worried but other than that, The stay was fantastic! The lady at the reception was phenomenal and everybody was friendly!!"

"This is a really nice hotel. I was very happy with my room, it was spacious and clean, we had the terrace queen and the little outside area is a nice touch. Everything feels high end at this property but for reasonable rate. All the common areas are classy and sophisticated without feeling stuffy, the staff are helpful and friendly. The parking across the street at the parking garage is reasonable for the city and convenient, and there’s not much need for your vehicle because there is a lot to...

"What a delight! If you like old hotels with charm this is fun. Rooms are huge. If you are into modern sterile hotels this isn’t the one for you. I stayed with my elderly mom for a few days of site seeing and it was absolutely charming. Staff were superb!"
