"Our family of 12 enjoyed a long weekend and it truly was Almost Heaven! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the fully appointed mountain cabin, we had an amazing time! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!"

"This was a return stay and like the first time, it didn't disappoint. Had everything we needed. Check-in and out is seamless. View of the river has changed a little after the 2024 flood but you can actually see more of the river, a plus. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing country setting, this place is for you."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The views were magnificent and very relaxing. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen which made it easy while preparing our meals. The bedrooms were also fully stocked (no need to bring extra bedding). The property is located a good distance away from shopping, so it is best to bring your own provisions when first arriving. "Our family had a fabulous time at this mountain retreat, enjoying the spectacular views, amazing card table, and fun video games. We appreciated the many "extras" this home included such as comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, televisions with live TV and Roku in the family room as well as the game room and multiple bedrooms, multiple fireplaces, and a very well stocked kitchen and laundry room with everything you could need and more. "The house was incredible and had everything we needed for our family of 5 plus two pups. The view from the deck was stunning and great to drink coffee on in the morning and sip bourbon on at night. Kids had a blast in the game room, even though they couldn’t beat me in shuffleboard! Mike and Rachel were fantastic hosts with great communication. Would highly recommend this house for your next trip. And if you do go would also recommend tubing down the French Brd River at Mad Co Tubing. Our kiddos...
