"Very quant old building in the centre of Petworth village. The rooms are very clean, nicely designed with beautiful bathrooms. Mind your head! As a very old building the stairs are narrow and uneven as may present a challenge for folks with limited mobility."

"Really lovely castle! Rooms are charming, grounds are lovely and the breakfast was nice. The TVs in the room were smart TVs but didn't work with the internet, and it would have been nice to have fridges in the rooms."

"Super stay as a half way point from Wimbledon to the coast on bikes with kids. Excellent, spacious family room. Right on the Down’s link. Staff very friendly and welcoming. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. "Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. "We were really impressed with our stay at Harpers Steakhouse in Haslemere. Looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a one-night stay, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. "The room is small but comfortable and welcoming. It has a nice bed and bathroom However, It is an old building and you can hear the noise from other rooms so not very relaxing or private to hang out in.
