"Really lovely castle! Rooms are charming, grounds are lovely and the breakfast was nice. The TVs in the room were smart TVs but didn't work with the internet, and it would have been nice to have fridges in the rooms."

"Lovely pub in a beautiful location. Dog friendly..did not know I had to mention that at time of booking but did not prove to be a problem. Amazing food with friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again."

"A lovely stay. A nice pub, with plenty of outside seating, and nice atmosphere inside. Good selection of drinks. A separate dining area made the evening meal feel more like eating in a restaurant Vs a pub. The food and service was very good. Dishes or the day and the specials added to an already sufficient menu. Breakfast was also very tasty. We stayed in room #1. It was much larger than expected, and with a sofa. "This is lovely. Accommodation is good and practical. The breakfast was really good. Tricky walk to the worlds end pub but you are in the best Sussex countryside so enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would love to have stayed longer"

"We were given an upgraded room it was very comfortable and spacious. but the light was dim. A very large bathroom with both bath & shower but only 1 hand towel. Breakfast was very nice apart from the bacon which was awful. "

"Very quant old building in the centre of Petworth village. The rooms are very clean, nicely designed with beautiful bathrooms. Mind your head! As a very old building the stairs are narrow and uneven as may present a challenge for folks with limited mobility."

"Smoky amazing B&B very boutique and fashionable. Couldn’t have asked for more. Bed was super comfy, shower was powerful & hot. Free parking across road all of stay, easy walk into town and bars, shops, beach etc. The chaps were lovely and so accommodating, I will be back. "

"Windows need attention. Room window was made of wood and was in poor condition. Had to be physically forced open due to warping. Fittings on window loose. Room in general was good."

"The room is small but comfortable and welcoming. It has a nice bed and bathroom However, It is an old building and you can hear the noise from other rooms so not very relaxing or private to hang out in. The self check in means you see no staff but the pub staff are friendly and helpful if you need anything. Located a 10 min walk from Knepp wilding project so convenient for us. "
