Welcome to 11 Acre Wood!
Relax at our log cabin and enjoy the sounds of nature. Take a walk on the trail through the private forest or paddle the canoe out on our pond. Located around 5 minutes away from the artsy towns of Douglas and Saugatuck, there is plenty to enjoy in town as well.

INSIDE THE HOME
The main floor has a living room with soaring ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace for chilly nights. Next to the living room is a large dining table and spacious kitchen that features a large island, two ovens and sub-zero fridge. Pots and pans, dishes and utensils are available for guests to use. On the main floor you will also find two bedrooms and a full bath.
Upstairs includes the large master bedroom with full bath overlooking the private pond.
The lower level is a place you can get cozy and watch a movie or read a book in front of the gas fireplace. You will also find the laundry room, full bathroom, and large bedroom that sleeps 5. If needed, the sofa in the t.v. room pulls out to a queen-sized bed for extra sleepers.
There is one more bedroom and half bathroom above the attached garage.

OUTDOOR SPACE
You can dine in the open-air on the patio located outside the kitchen or enjoy the fire pit and Adirondack chairs while taking in the stars. On the pond side of the house relax on the rocking chairs on the covered porch while sipping your morning coffee. And just below, you will find the hot tub and seating area to take in the view of the beach and pond. Fishing poles, outdoor games, snow shoes and sleds are available if you are looking for something more active. The property also has its own little sandy beach. Wildlife can be seen roaming around including wild turkeys, deer, ducks, geese, and cranes.

THE LOCATION
Our cabin, located just outside Douglas and Saugatuck is the perfect place to get away into nature, while still being close to all the great restaurants, shops and art galleries the area has to offer. Visit nearby breweries, wineries and orchards as you explore the charming towns dotted along the coast of western Michigan

We just checked out after spending a great long weekend at this property. It had everything. Owners were so responsive and accommodating. We are marking this place as a favorite and will definitely be back. Five plus stars!!!!

We arrived with our party of nine for a three-night visit. The property and house were just as described in the listing. We had a great time in the house, playing games, cooking meals, enjoying the hot tub, walking the property, and relaxing. The proximity to downtown Saugatuck was very convenient. We had an amazing day walking through town, perusing the shops, attending a vendor fair, and stopping off for the occasional drink and snack at some of the local establishments. We were in town during the gas outage, which we worried would effect the trip, but all of the local businesses made the best of a bad situation, greeted us warmly, and accommodated our party to the best of their ability. It was a very memorable trip, and we all agreed that we would love to return to 11 Acre Wood for another visit. Thank you!

This cabin was our first time staying there. Only thing that i did not give 5 star for property cleaniness was due to the hot tub. It was not well maintained or ready for our stay. The service guy came got it serviced but the tub was less clean as expected. The cabin was clean and ready for us. We loved the ping pong table and played everyday. The contact person was helpful with my questions and provided instructions as needed. Also, responded quickly about hot tub issue. Customer service was great! Thank you!

We had an amazing stay! The house was spacious, with a great layout and plenty of comfortable beds. The property was absolutely beautiful, and the home had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back!

We had a group of friends (women) stay at the home. Everything was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Being directly on the pond was so beautiful and peaceful. Perfect place for a getaway. Hope to book again soon. Loved, loved, loved this place.

The check-in process was easy, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and we enjoyed fishing in the pond. Short ride to downtown Douglas and downtown Saugatuck. The canoe was a little unstable so I would recommend not having children ride in it. Overall, it was a great stay and we would come back!

We had a great time at 11 Acres! It was very clean which is my main concern when renting for the first time. The linens could use a bit of an upgrade, towels, sheets and such but we made do. Kitchen as great and we LOVED the music system. We did puzzles, colored and read books. It was just what we needed and the location was perfect for exploring new small towns.

For a large group this property was perfect. Hot tub, canoeing, bags, fishing poles, ping pong table, pro datt board it had it all. Appliances top shelf sleeping arrangements were great. We had a small plumbing issue and they handled it within 1 hour! The inhouse sound system was so cool (sonos).

Cannot speak more highly of this place! The cabin was a dream location for 12 of my friends and I. We all slept comfortably and enjoyed the canoe, fire pit, beach, even the fishing poles! There was some sand in the hot tub but we didn’t mind. Management team was very responsive and dropped off a fan when we confirmed the master did not work. We will absolutely be back!

We usually go to the ocean but were tired of the long drive from Ohio and wanted to try something different. The grandchildren learned to fish from their Dad, canoed with their uncle and still spent 3 days at Lake Michigan. It was very peaceful. It is a bit of a drive to a full scale grocery store so you just need to plan ahead, but there is plenty of storage at the house.

We had a wonderful time - the cabin was just like the pictures and only a 5min drive from downtown. The cabin is closer to neighbors than we anticipated, but wasn't an issue by any means. We had trouble with the AC working in the room above the garage, but the team was willing to send a fan late at night, and had maintenance over the next day. Overall, very nice stay.

The cabin had everything as described. Stunning views, comfortable sleeping for a large group. Was frustrated that there were 6 towels for 10 people. Was going to request more towels, then found what looked like bed bugs. Called the emergency contact. They responded very quickly. And explained that the property was being treated for bat bugs…they relocated us and refunded the night. Disappointed it was rented out w a known infestation. And bummed we couldn’t enjoy what they cabin had to offer.

The house was nice and the layout was great. We did have a few hiccups with the hot tub but they were able to sort that right away and provide the right kind of service as expected due to our situation and it was immediate which was even better. The service there is exceptional. Only recommended to walk the property after each clean just to make sure there are no mistakes. Oh and get rid of the rug in the kitchen or use that rug tape. The corners come up and everyone just tripped on it.

We stayed at this property for 3 days including Christmas Eve and Christmas. The house was beautiful and clean and the property provided lots of warm and cozy vibes as well as lots of exploring to do outside! Overall it was an amazing trip!
