"This is the second time we have stayed at this property and already booked to come back again. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. Free parking is also a bonus. Just a few minutes away from the showground where they hold antique fairs. Jeff is an excellent host and cooks amazing meals. Looking forward to going back again soon. "

"This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

Our room was clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches and breakfast was nicely varied and had plenty of options for guests with gluten and dairy intolerances as well which is by no means a given. "Great staff, clean and tidy room, good location with easy car parking. Great food including very good options for my coeliac wife. This is a quaint more traditional style of hotel with it seemed like only six rooms. You still get a room key attached to a fob rather than the key cards you tend to get nowadays and the flooring is a little sloped in places all adding to the charm. We had just a one night stop over but would be happy to return."
