"We stayed at the Montigo Resort hotel as we were going to the Rock and Ribs festival. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes away from the festival by car. The hotel itself has a nice setting and does have a nice relaxed feel. Our room was fine and the bed comfortable. We did feel the room looked a little tired, especially the bathroom. "The staff were amazing- really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfy enough with plenty of pillows. The shower was not so good, with very low water pressure, so it barely dribbled out. There was shower gel and shampoo and conditioner provided, which was useful (even if washing it off was not straightforward!) I hadn’t anticipated getting breakfast, so the basket of fruit, brekkie bars, bagel and pain au chocolat was a real bonus."

"Last minute booking at the george lovely hotel with fab breakfast in a gorgeous village. We had the cheapest twin room but hadn’t realised the bathroom was accross the hall from the room when booking. It was okay as we were only their a night. Breakfast was good also would recommend just don’t book that room ."

"What a gem of a hotel with plenty of character. This place has a spiritual vibe which is very calming and relaxing, Staff were very friendly and food was great loved the vintage type radio in the room gave a lovely relaxed feel. Hotel was spotless and if you lucky you may see one of the ghosts that are said to roam this old hotel. Highly recommended will stay again! Glastonbury is a wonderful spiritual place with a great vibe. Pubs close early evening for food orders but we visited an amazing...

"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!!
And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"Set in a lovely building and village with beautiful views. Really recommend. Rooms a little bit tired but did not ruin our stay as it was a great base. Mexican restaurant, bar and outside space was lovely.
There is a local shop and some pubs within walking distance in the village too. Close to Yeovil etc.
Would definitely stay again.
