"Enjoyed the Atocha location, close to but away from the hustle and bustle of the busiest parts of Madrid Well appointed kitchen was nice for lite breakfast before heading out for the day, we made use of the washer/dryer unit so that was a plus. Bed was comfortable and blackout curtains and window shutter allowed us to sleep in, which was critical to adjusting from jet lag coming from US. "At first,we were provided a room which did not match the one shown as the pictures on Expedia’s website. The one we supposed to book was 2 bedroom apartment, however, It is so small , there is no door of the bedrooms , no living area. It should only be called studio. We tried to contact the host , they were not very helpful at the beginning, saying the pictures are taken from different apartments, after a long communication, they move us to a bigger apartment which is better. "Hotel seemed older but was clean. It wasnt super quiet but also was not loud either. We were able to sleep with little interruption. The location was okay. 20 minute walk to the tourist area and main sites. About a 10 minute walk to the train station. We felt safe in the hotel. They had locks and staff at the desk. The staff were friendly and helpful."
