"What a find. On driving up to the lroperty, we were taken back with the beauty. We were apprehensive asnon a univereity site but to need to be at all. Check in easy and free parking. Walked through busy bar (2 weddings on) but no issues at all. A little noise heard from room until music finished but was grand. Our dog also had a super time "

"Friendly greeting upon arrival, staff were very helpful. The room was bigger than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise, we really liked how the bedroom was separate from the living area. We wish there more hooks to hang coats, clothes etc and the bathroom was a little smaller than where we have stayed before as one of us has slight mobility issues so moving around the bathroom was tricky but not difficult. We will defintley be staying again, perhaps try the next size up. "

"Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
