"We had to abandon trip due to an emergency tried to move the booking to the following weekend. Initially hotel suggested it was possible but then decided it wouldn’t. Expedia staff were excellent in trying to assist. we understand the terms of the booking but as a frequent traveller the first time we have found a hotel operator to be inflexible which is a shame. As we weren’t able to complete the visit unable to comment on the rest of the facilities but unlikely to choose stop at a days inn...

"Hotel plumbing is temperamental and carpets are very tired. Very comfy bed and room has everything you need."

"Fantastic stay. Lovely room. Free parking and £10 for our dog to stay ( 2 night stay) food was lovely and we could take our dog with us. The staff were fab made a fuss over our dog and nothing was too much trouble for us or her. Opposite, there is a field that you can take your dog for a walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back. "

"To be fair, this is apparently one of the oldest pubs in the area so it's dated interior kept with the theme. The staff were friendly but you might have to wait for service at the bar or restaurant, or reception. The bar - ran out of draught cider (on an early Friday evening) The restaurant ran out of sirloin on an early yes you guessed it Friday evening. There was a definite whiff of ganja on the 1st floor accomodation hallway. The room was small, hot and the bed had an extremely soft...

"Parking is easy. However the Breakfast was £16 which is way too expensive and we will never eat all the stuff what is provided. Breakfast should be simple and i don't mind spending about £5 for a breakfast. It is breakfast not a big lunch"

"I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around ."

"Great easy hotel Perf for Alton towers has a really nice pub opposite it which did a carvery has petrol station and a breakfast and Asian cafe also great room was fine no hair dryer tho and small shower not in a bathroom and toilet was in a cupboard "

"The room was so dirty, hair in the bath, black mould all round the shower door and bath seal. Literally wiped it and the mould was coming off on tissue. Absolutely disgusting. Complained at reception but haven't had anything back from this. There was also soap in our kettle. Could really do with being redecorated, looked like a leak all down the inside of the windows and all just look shabby and outdated. Would not recommend especially with children I didn't even feel they could play on the...

"A decent walk away from the town centre, this was ideal for a quick overnight stay. Hotel very dated and at night we got back to find security trying to keep trouble makers out the car park. However, we got a random unexpected upgrade into a suite which was exciting. Loved the double spa bath. Not bad for what we paid."
