"Not worth the price per night. Very tired looking rooms. Public areas need a good clean and upgrading and staff inconsistent. Handy for the M8 and zoo."

Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club
"The property is ok, needs some maintenance to get it back to its glory days. The room was clean although the bathroom floor had the grout missing between the tiles. You can hear next door through the walls and can be noisy. The Brasseria restaurant was not great. Staff seemed to be a little lost ..."

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
"Last minute stay and had a wonderful nights sleep after enjoying the spa and dining in their restaurant. Great location near Calton Hill, Howies, The Balmoral etc. And don’t forget to have a drink in the rooftop of The W hotel if it’s a pleasant day/evening, great views"

"Very comfortable one bedroom apartment suite on the Royal Mile but far enough down the hill as to render it quiet. Great breakfast. Near everything. Not luxurious but sufficient to our needs."

"Fantastic location and wonderful staff, some lovely personal touches including shortbread and hand written welcome on arrival, and my son was gifted a cuddly toy which made his day! Will definitely visit again."
