"What a beautiful place to stay! Our room was comfortable (a little warm and no AC) and the staff was very helpful. We got great recommendations for dining and sightseeing from them. I highly recommend visiting the Katoomba area and Kurrara Guest House is a perfect place to stay. Good breakfast and very charming!"

"This is a budget motel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room had the usual budget motel musty smell. The shower stall is small. But on the positive side, the room had a couch, a dining table, and the table settings needed to have breakfast in the room. The heater worked well, as did the available blankets."

The concierge was friendly, the room clean and spacious and the location was only a few minutes drive from the centre of Katoomba and other tourist attractions. The decor was dated and was on a noisy road (fine if the windows are closed as they are double glazed). But the property condition was very poor with leakage in the bathroom, bed rugged with a sagging mattress so much so that my daughter now has a sore back due to sleeping in that.
