"Unfortunately, due to a problem in the reservations system, our reservation appeared as cancelled and the hotel was fully booked. Hotel owners did everything possible to find a similar accomodation. They were a model of kindness and professionality and gave us an accomodation more expensive and they paid the difference of price. I regret we could not stay at the hotel, but, no doubt, this wil be our choice hotel if we return to Katoomba and we will recommend it to all our friends and colleagues."

"This was a great location for our touring family. They were very helpful when we called to request a main floor room because of mobility issues. We arrived late and checked out relatively early so didn't get a chance to interact with front desk very much. We did not expect daily housekeeping so left some dirty dishes to address after our day out but when we got back, the dishes had been washed, dried and put away to our surprise! Place is older but clean and a great base for daily adventures in...

"Lovely older style hotel with friendly check-in and clean spacious room with everything you needed. Breakfast was a let down, out of date yoghurt, milk and no bread for toast. Otherwise really nice stay. "

"It’s a great place for the price, location and quietness. But, it feels very empty with lots of rooms. I’ve stayed several times and never seen anyone receiving cancer treatment or the medical desks in use. I think they should revert to trading without the medical facility label as it has loads of facilities or meditation room, gym equipment, large dining area. "
