"The sample photos must be a few years old, because the building façade and our room were already getting on in years. In our bathroom there were many black mold stains or something like mold on the joints. Something like that really shouldn't be there. But the food and staff were very friendly and nice. "Where to start? What's not to like here. A stunning loch-side location; beautiful and well-appointed room overlooking the loch, Nespresso facilities, great shower-room. The breakfasts were excellent. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and could not fault a thing. The choice, presentation and taste of the food were all superb. We had a minor issue in our room but the staff were onto it and it was fixed in no time. I couldn't recommend this place more."

"I only spent one night here but I thought the the hotel was very good. The room was spacious and very comfortable, couldn’t get the TV to work but that could be me. The evening meal was good and served well. One note to let it down, the surly staff member at breakfast is no help to your business."

"The staff were great but the property could do with a bit of an upgrade. Shower nozzle was blocked and the shower gel was empty. That being said it was not expensive and we had good craic with Dougie and the other locals in the bar."
