"The food was lovely. Mac and cheese meal was well presented as was the burger and fries. The beef burger was very good quality. These items were ordered from the children’s menu. Portion sizes were very generous. The breakfast choices were good too. Small cafe shops nearby for alternative breakfast fare as well as a local supermarket. Car parking is very good."

"Sauberes Zimmer, Super Frühstück, Gastgeber super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hilfe gab es auch bei der Restaurantreservierung. Im Zimmer selbst gibt es eine große Tee und Kaffeebar, sowie 2 Sessel in denen man sehe gemütlich sitzt. Aussicht ist toll und sehr ruhig gelegen. Kann jedem nur empfehlen hier her zu kommen. Die Gastgeber haben die Einrichtung sehr gut durchdacht und es ist alles da was man braucht. Das beste B&B auf unserer Schottlandrundreise. Besser als jede Hotelkette."

"Stayed in a superior pod, very contemporary, comfortable, clean, and well insulated from the weather with lovely views of the loch and mountains. Not much in the immediate area food wise (would need to drive to Balloch for any alternative dining options) but the food at Oaktree was lovely, tasty and filling. Good choice of whisky too."

"Hotel is very run down, we waited at the reception for a bit before being seen to! Hallway and stairs are in need of a good clean and paint! Very run down. Room was freezing, no heating on. Damp on windows and ceiling and that was supposed to be a refurbished room! Needless to say we didn’t stay and left straight away! Out of pocket. Light fitting in hall hanging down from ceiling (dangerous). Hallway hadn’t even been hoovered. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!! "

"Ended up not being able to visit and they refused to refund any of the money, even though they had a weak notice that we were not going to be able to attend. Horrible people to deal with extremely rude. Do not recommend."

"Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids under 5yrs. Breakfast was very nice! The location gave us access to a lot of things around Loch Lomond (Faerie Trail was the kids favorite). Parking was convenient and the hotel is close to other restaurants. I would stay here again."

"Wonderful amenities, beautiful property, and high quality food at The Cameron House. The spa, pool, and gym are the nicest that I’ve seen in Scotland. The food is exceptional particularly the dinners and breakfast at The Cameron Grill, and the Great Scots Bar is a wonderful setting. Rooms v well appointed as well. "

"Great welcome by Alison , super room with a view to die for ! Lounge area by the log burner was perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Evening dining was available which was fabulous and very high quality. Breakfast was also excellent made all the more special looking out to the view of the Loch . "Avoid Room 22 floor, doors, bed squeaked. Door for the corridor was right next to our room every time someone opened it , it banged shut and the whole room shook. The boiler must also be close to the room or a main pipe noise from it all night ! Staff were all very nice and helpful. We had pre-booked a table for dinner stating not in the middle of the room or in between two others disappointed when it was bang smack right in the middle and no other tables we could have . Wouldn’t stay again. "
