"Wonderful boutique hotel in a historic building with high ceilings and a welcoming atmosphere. Room was well appointed with a fantastic bed and good shower. We had a quick dinner at the restaurant, which offers a small menu. Food was very good, as was the breakfast. Staff was very friendly and location is perfect, on a quiet street in the city center near the train station and minutes walk from plenty of restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Hotel Lion d'Or was a nice hotel with a friendly staff. The room was fairly large and clean. It had a very small refrigerator, but no microwave. We were a little cool in the room and could not get the heat to raise the temperature, but it wasn't bad. The elevator was small and pretty slow, but it worked. The location was good- less than a block from the train station and about a 10-minute walk from the old town. We did not eat any meals with them, so I can't comment on the food. We would...

Then some rude manager came in and told us to leave. Fine . Now no one in your bar. Make sure you are ok same page as workers ."

"The hotel was ideally situated close to the airport with its own shuttle service running every half hour but not free for return to the airport. The facilities were excellent especially the pool and sauna. Staff were lovely."

"This hotel was a convenient distance from Schipol Airport, which is a hub for connecting to all of the Netherlands. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The front desk staff made our stay much more enjoyable because they were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Even though we had a few bumps with the pullout bed, they took care of them with efficiency and kindness. We would definitely choose to stay here again when visiting the Netherlands!"
