"Property was undergoing renovation. Our room was on the floor that was newly renovated so it was quite comfortable and clean with new furnishings. The staff was kind and helpful. The gym is small and not been updated. We were on the ski hill most of the day so the renovation work didn’t really affect us. Overall, I think it will be very nice once work is complete. "

"Friendly staff, clean room and nice location. It is walking distance to stores and restaurants.
We got a stunning view of the Main Street as it was snowing when we were there. For a Californian, it was a sight to behold.
Our room is located next to the hot tub. We were not up to the challenge as it was below 0 degrees celsius. Hopefully we can try it when we come back.
Breakfast was included. The sausage was exceptional! Won’t complain about free breakfast.
Overall, I will recommend this...

"The pool was nice, but it seemed geared more toward families with young children. I also wish the sauna, with its clear doors, wasn’t so exposed to the pool area—it lacked the quiet, tranquil spa-like atmosphere I was hoping for."

"Great stay at Otter Hotel! The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a cozy mountain vibe. The room was spacious and well designed, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient for exploring Banff. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I would happily come back again."

"Staff weren’t the most friendly. My friend (diabetic) had an iced tea (nestea) at the hot tub for a sugar low, and the staff yelled at us as they accused us of having alcohol there. Not impressed. Also, they did not allow us to take the tunnel to the Fox anymore. It is still advertised you can use this. The chemicals and stuffiness of the hot tub at this location was burning our eyes, skin, and making us cough so we were hoping to go next door. We’ve stayed here at least 10x and this time wasn’t...

"The Blackstone was perfectly situated in Canmore. The ability to walk to near by restaurants and have access to the highway was spectacular. We booked a two bedroom suite for our family of 4 and it was perfect. The use of the kitchen, living spaces and have enough room for everyone to feel comfortable was amazing! Highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking to travel to Canmore! "
