"Great place to stay! I had a long layover and chose this hotel for one night, however I would’ve stayed longer if I could. It has a great view of the ocean, beautiful surrounding landscape, and close by shops and restaurants. No problem getting a taxi to and from the airport."

"Clean room but it was very small. Land is precious in Hongkong. The rooms in Hongkong are generally just about suitable. Staff excellent. Breakfast buffet suitable and reasonably priced for a hotel. Bus to and from the airport run once per hour. Can be a nuisance if you just miss one and you have 59 mins to wait. Shuttle to nearest train station is every 30 mins. Once again if you miss one it’s frustrating. Otherwise no problems "

"Beds mattresses like concrete so so hard. Not good for us westerners. So I could not stay again because of that. Room old and so so tiny. Lovely helpful staff and so close to metro with 2 suitcases i caught 2 trains to airport from hotel"

"You get what you pay for. Perfect prize for a layover/overnight from airport. Wonderful location: food, bars, transportation. Small rooms and bathrooms. For a longer stays choose a bigger room or other more expensive hotels in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It was near the airport so it was convenient as we had an early morning flight. This hotel is attached to City Gate Outlets (huge shopping mall with a great food court on the upper level as well as many restaurants within). Nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi, quaint restaurant/bar area at the back of the hotel. Hotel staff were helpful. Room was a bit small but sufficient for 1 night before we headed home."

"We stayed during an 8 hour layover. Pleasant staff, nice room. Executive lounge breakfast was very basic. The snacks later in day before departure were stale left over breakfast pastries, a bit disappointing when paying extra for the lounge."

"We did not want a meal meal but a warm light meal. The menu in the downstairs bar was not too our taste and expensive. The Vivaca bar on the third was not open and would only open with a prior booking. This left us with only vending machines with a poor choice. There was an empty refrigerator in a cupboard. The hotel information on the tv was all adverisements but no real information about emergency procudures. An emergency fire alarm went off at 1pm in the morning. This was very worrying...

"Only stayed overnight during a long layover to elsewhere but it was lovely to walk there over bridges and through forest to the sound of frogs. Terry was great at giving me directions to the bus back to the airport in morning and saved me about HK$80. In fact gave me the HK$4 bus fare. My only complaint a small but loud frog just outside my room disturbing my sleep a little."
