"Absolutely gorgeous setting with a view of the glacier. Villa was comfortable (except for the lack of bedside lamps) with a nice kitchen and good beds. Loved that they had free DVDs available (which we took advantage of thanks to a very rainy afternoon and evening) and laundry facilities. The town of Franz Joseph Glacier was cute but food options weren't great - I'd suggest cooking in. Glad we had 2 nights here! "

"Well apppointed indoor and outdoor area. Outside spa baths in a bush setting listening to Keas was awesome. Warm and cosy with lots of heating options. Hotel quality stay."

"Lovely job in renovating this old church. Great kitchen and appliances. The bed needs attention, you felt a bit like you were sleeping in a ditch with our bodies sinking in. Overall great though. Thank you. "

"Great cottage and memories made! Exactly as described - and has got our teens out of their comfort zones. Was great to get them to experience an old skool way of living! Highlight was the hot springs down the road. Really appreciated the tour of the property and have recommended the cottage to friends already. "

"Super clean and comfortable. Convenient to town but quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view out the back windows. Our timing coincided with cold rain but it would be lovely to open up the whole back of the house in nice weather. "
