"The property is good for people who love the nature and wild. The noise of the frogs is loud and if you can’t handle noise at night do not stay here. The shower was outside with no door and the bathrooms are also outside but you can’t flush you have to use dirt."

"Is it not a good place for more than one night. Don't choose this place. We stayed 6 nights, they didn't change the blankets once, they only changed the bath towels once. There's no privacity. They offer free breakfast. We took it for 2 days, until we saw how she prepares the juice. She squeezes oranges full of mold, we asked her why she does it like that and she said there is not problem, that it does not taste bad and she has always done it that way. "This 2 bed, 2 bath apartment with a full kitchen and available washer and dryer was a great place to stay in the Captain Cook area. The house is located in an area which is walking distance to the water, which does involve a long and windy drive down the hill from highway 11, the Mamalahoa Hwy. The accommodations are comfortable and spacious. The host is charming and hospitable."

"This was a lovely place to stay for our family of six (kids ranging 9-16). It is not new, but it has a lovely homey feel and was clean. We put two kids in bunk beds, one on the couch, and another on the living room bed. The living room space was comfortable for watching movies together and the dining room/lanai accommodated us well for meals. We appreciated that the location was a bit cooler (no AC needed) and secluded, making it worth the slightly longer drive to local beaches. I really...

"This property has beautiful views, was well stocked and is very family friendly. The upstairs is comfortable and I loved the artsy decor. The downstairs got a little warm, but on the last day, I realized there was a big fan in the closet. My grandkids enjoyed chasing the colorful geckos. The host, Cheryl, is super nice and was very accommodating. The only drawback for me was the road to the property. I have acrophobia, but my son drove and we managed."
