"Hotel was lovely and even though we were warned and expected noise on a Sat night in December, we didn’t expect to be quite as loud as it was! We were directly above the Xmas disco room and the windows in our room were actually vibrating. On the up side they did finish promptly at midnight. Just be aware it’s not just background noise but very loud. Need more staff on at breakfast time to keep tables cleared and food stocked up. "

"A great place to stay at if you plan to visit Chatsworth or Bakewell area It is like going back in time, but still get to enjoy modern amenities. All staff we encountered with were all super nice and welcoming. The room was amazing and food was superb. "

"Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out."

"One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. "
