"We had a great stay overall! The animals were all nice besides the donkey. The market was nice for breakfast and a little shopping. The cabin was a bit chilly the first night as there’s not really insulation but with both heaters going and the fan blowing towards the roof it made it more than comfortable the second night. "Owners thought of every detail, even providing coffee, paper products (minus tissues), firewood and firestarter sticks. They came by and checked on us, were not intrusive at all. Very helpful, friendly and concerned that everything was ok, and suggested hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing time, beautiful sunsets and stunning mountain views."

"Scenic view of verdant hills with cattle grazing. This is a homestead farm with goats, donkey and peacocks. At night when the sky is clear, you can see the bright stars in the hemisphere. It’s a country experience with a flair of Tyrol Austria."

"John the owner was incredible. He even provided my son and I a parking pass to the Virginia Tech vs Miami game. RV was perfect for us. I even managed to catch a bucket list musky on my trip! "

"This is an older single-floor motel with some longer-term residents. The room was clean but dated. Fridge and microwave in the room. Walls are thin. Was there a warmer weekend in March, did not try HVAC. Longer-term residents were socializing on walkway outside room, ending about 10pm. With ear plugs I slept well. Wifi was good, did not try TV. No business center or breakfast."

"Sheets were not cleaned. No toilet tissue at all !!! No coffee. Not as advertised at all. Lots of broken things inside. "
