"Chose to stay 30 minutes from our venue due to the hotel and amenities advertised. Beautiful pool and hot tub on the site of this location however, after checking in, we discovered there was no operating pool that had not been working 8 months! Also no hot tub as it had been filled in with concrete since 2020! The mattress in our room was very old, warn, lumpy, and uncomfortable! "Clerk did not inform us that you needed to use a power switch at the front door to use the TV and we couldn't use the phone system it wouldn't call to the front desk so I had to walk to the front desk to take care of issue. The toilet seat also was broken it wasn't attached on one side and the seat was too big for the toilet"

"The staff was very nice. It’s lovely they allow dogs. The property needs some work, the room itself was not great The beds were incredibly lumpy and in need of upgrade. The room was clean though and it had a refrigerator and microwave. I wouldn’t expect breakfast on site as an “amenity” as it was very limited with fruit (maybe they ran out of food?). "I stay often because I visit family in Lincoln. Its a decent hotel given the small town but paying $250 per night just because the state fair was up the road in Springfield was ridiculous! I have stayed at this location at least once or twice a year since it opened and I've never paid this much for a room!"

"It was okay. It was clean and the price was very reasonable, however listed as a non-smoking hotel, yet everyday we could smell people smoking weed inside. People live here as well,"

"Do not stay in this hotel unless you are in an absolute pinch. It was changed to a Comfort Inn not a Holiday Inn, the elevator was broken, the pool was out of service, and worst of all, our room was infested with ants. And not just a few ants, ants everywhere on almost every service. I don’t write reviews almost ever, but I feel very strongly about warning people about this hotel. I’m surprised it is still open."

"Great stay! Perfect location within walking distance to everything we enjoy. The home is spotless, well cared for, and has plenty of space. Megan is a fantastic host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!"

"The arcade in the basement as well as 3 arcades within 100 feet was a great advantage to keeping the kiddos happy. McDonalds close. Projection TV onto the wall was nice for movies and plenty of games to play. Great view of the town square and of the railroad tracks to watch trains go by."
