"I traveled with my husband and kids for a few days gateway. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from our balcony, fire pits in the evenings, mini golf and the heated pool. We took advantage of the water sports as well and the kids tried the paddle boards for the first time. The proximity to the harbor town was also convenient. This was our first trip to Maine and definitely not last."

"We stayed in 2 rooms. One was in very good condition, the other was slightly run down. Both were clean. The staff members were helpful and polite. Breakfast was more than we expected. Amenities were great - both in terms of appliances and toiletries."

We had complimentary buffet breakfast, which was very good with lots of food choices. The grounds and buildings could use some maintenance, due to peeling paint and overgrown landscaping. Pool area was clean with a heated pool. Onsite restaurant was limited on food choices. Otherwise this was a very good place to stay as a resort in a quiet beautiful location."

"This place was excellent! We decided to spend an extra night in Boothbay on a whim and stumbled upon Topside. We loved it so much that we'll absolutely be back. Breakfast the next morning was such a treat. It felt luxurious without being pretentious—beautifully done, warm, and incredibly welcoming. It was the perfect way to end our stay, and we can't wait to return."

"We loved our stay at the Admirals Quarters Inn! From our enthusiastic greeting and property tour to our check-out, our host Jersey was always available, friendly and accommodating. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The property itself was well-maintained and offered plenty of places to sit and look over the harbor. "We stayed in the Appledore room on the third floor. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The check-in was easy with entry codes emailed prior to. The only caveats were climbing the steep stairs, which could be a problem for some and the restaurant which is below the inn was quite noisy with patrons dining outside until 9:00 pm."
