"The inn was ok. Needs more of special touches that an inn has to offer. The staff was not around to help. I had some friends over to the inn and was very grateful they let all of us there for hours to enjoy each other’s company. My friends want to book the whole inn for bike weekend next year. They all liked the inn."

"This was our second time staying at the 1863 Inn at Gettysburg. The room was very clean and the bathroom updated. PROS: Great location! We were able to walk the cemetary and the entire town easily from our location. The location can't beat. Close to stores, restaurants and attractions. CONS: The property is a bit dated. There's a musty smell throughout. Our particular room was very damp although the air conditioner kept the room cool, everything just felt damp and the room was humid. In...

"Wonderful place to stay, however, they need to update the outlets or bedside lamps to include USB/USC charging. That little little change would have been extremely helpful. We have medical devices that need to be plugged in at the wall at bedside, so we unplugged the lamp. Otherwise, great everything, including the pool and hot tub."

"We have stayed here a few times throughout the years because we love visiting Gettysburg. The breakfast cottage is amazing. The mineshaft bar is super cool. It’s walkable to everything. They have an outdoor pool for summer and an indoor pool for winter. The outdoor pool has a really cool diving board."

"The entire place needs a makeover but with that being said our room was clean,air conditioner worked great. We were notified that they were short staffed so that the rooms wouldnt be tidied up but that if we needed towels to get them at the front desk. With all that being said i would definitely go back because the staff were doingvthe absolute best they could and were so very friendly and helpful. Hats off to Angie in particular. Thank you!"

"Room- Clean, a/c worked well. Sink smelled from the drain pipe. Also, ask for more towels for more than 1 day stay. Staff- Kitchen, guy didn't speak english. Just point to what needs replenishment. They have 2 coffee dispensers that grind whole beans per cup, no option. You're stuck with black, or adding half-n-half or 2 coffe mate pump flavorings. Slow system lines up the breakfast goers. Limited items, no milk containers for the kiddies. Did have yogurt and bananas. Shops- check on maps...
