"I didn't read the property details properly, so to my surprise there were no private amenities on the property. Essentially Shoreline Lodge is a backpackers Hostel. The rooms are private with a TV, Some have small balconies that overlook Marine Terrace. There is a communal kitchen with plenty of space (beware, gas supply is switched off automatically at 8.30), and have to finish clean up by 9. There is a combined communal lounge/dining room with a very big dining table, and a pool table, though...

"Free parking, beach short walk away"

"Nice location breakfast could be upgraded"

"Very spacious 2 bedroom unit. Large living room and dining table. The kitchen was great and so was the bathroom. Everything was clean!"

"Staff were very nice and helpful"

"All perfectly good for a couple of nights; a long walk to town and not much there; beach very close and nice to sit and watch sunset; hotel pool area is nice with comfy chairs; we had a very tasty evening meal but the restaurant itself is rather soulless"

"Excellent Hotel central et moderne. Facilité de stationnement. Très grandes chambres confortables. Très bien situé au centre-ville"

"Vehicle was broken in to just after we arrived in broad daylight. Had only just finished unloading the car and hadn't locked it yet. Car was parked right outside our room door. Very brazen! Thankfully not much left in the car to steal. Glove box and centre console thrown everywhere. Lovely reception staff took a long time to do anything-came and looked at car, not sure if they ended up calling security or police or looked for perp. No security cameras. Dont be fooled by the security fencing."

"No further comments other than staff very helpful."

"Great staff, great location, plenty to do for the kids, recommend"

"Lovely historical house, the house is very spacious and very clean. Took us a bit for time to find out the keys at night. Wish there was wifi and a ramp from the road to the parking behind the gate."

"Quiet clean relaxing spot, great bathroom, lovely spa, kitchen and laundry facilities"

"almost all the dishes were dirty. bathroom looked like it was not cleaned and with spider webs at corners. couch was smelly and felt sticky, seemed like the covers weren’t washed for a while."

"Beautiful house with lots of room for the dogs"

"Great value and super location"

"Very quiet and plenty of room."
