"Great resort it’s our second time there and it’s always top notch service and staff. Loved it."

"We came here for our honeymoon in September of 2026. It was perfect. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and the place itself was beautiful!"

"Super nice place"

"Healthy food choices, very friendly staff, room and resort clean and well kept. Beautiful volcano view."

"Lush beautiful property, very friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms!"

"Room was spacious with a nice balcony although we had a parking lot view. The property was beautiful and all the pools-spa were worth the drive ."

"Just a glorious place. Plus, if your place is up the hill from reception, you will get your exercise in the morning walking up and down the hill! The breakfast was fantastic with home baked breads and cakes, pastries (yes, they even had chocolate cake one day and an orange cake another day)! Plus, they have an omelet station. We ate dinner there one night and it was quite good. The warm pool is lovely. It's sort of like one of the natural hot springs in the area although maybe easier to...

"Best hotel in Fortuna- you can have many activities"

"The property was really well maintained. the balcony has an excellent view of the volcano. the staff were very nice and accomodating. They were also very responsive when we messaged them. location of this property is also very good and close to all activities. A very excellent coffee and chocolate tour is right across the street from this property. a grocery store is also very close (30 second drive) to buy groceries. hot tub was clean and well maintained."

"Excellent place! Everything is wonderful except the weak internet connection in the room"

"Hotel Boutique Casa del Río was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip! Nestled in the heart of the rainforest, the property is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for nature lovers. Our room was beautiful, and waking up to the soothing sound of the rushing river each morning was incredibly peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh tropical fruits, fresh juices, and a flavorful traditional Costa Rican breakfast. The view of the volcano from the restaurant in the morning was breathtaking....

"I loved staying here and am so glad I found this little gem. It’s considered off season so there was no crowding and the staff were amazing and super welcoming. The place is located close to Downtown La Fortuna and I was able to get picked up and dropped off from all my excursions. Loved having the rainstorms in the afternoon evening and even took a nap on the hammock that was on my back porch with the forest view listening to the rain and the nature sounds. I brought a mosquito net zip around...

"La vista es espectacular y la habitación, sin duda, de las mejores. Lamentablemente, el servicio al cliente no estuvo al nivel esperado, particularmente durante la cena, donde la atención fue francamente muy deficiente y afectó de forma importante nuestra experiencia. Angie, por su parte, fue excepcional con los detalles extras solicitados para decoración y destacó positivamente por su atención y disposición."

"Very clean property wonderful staff and the views were amazing. I will definitely be back."
