"Great location right on the water. Great for fishing or just sitting and relaxing. The house is in a quiet secluded area but only 10 minutes from Chesapeake Bay. Pool was an awesome extra. My son enjoyed it. The home was clean and plenty of space. "

"We booked this place as we wanted to try something different for once. We have stayed in hotels for the last 18yrs when we travel and wanted to try something different for once. The pictures and reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. When i tell u that the pictures don't lie, this place was exactly as described. We enjoyed being here. The home is a small gem. Its kept clean n very well organized n we felt like we were home away from home. The host was amazing n easy to communicate...

"This was a comfortable place to stay overnight in Wilmington, an easy drive to downtown and back, off-street parking, and a simple check-in, all for a reasonable price. The kitchen floor could have been cleaner, but it wasn't a big deal because we weren't in the kitchen a lot. I let the host know and they said they would work to improve it."

"Great property and good location! Nice with basic paper supplies, cleaning supplies and seasonings. We used the grill and hot tub, and watched a sunset in those big chairs!"

"The house had everything we needed in the kitchen to make and reheat meals, and the bed was comfortable and could be separated from the living area by a sliding door. We also liked the artistic decor!"

"This is an excellent property. Great location, clean and functional and the host is terrific (extremely responsive and takes great pride in his product and your experience). Master bedroom bed and TV are exceptional. I would recommend to anyone, particularly a business traveler. "

"We loved the place! It’s adorable and well appointed with necessities. My only complaint (and the reason I gave four stars rather than five) is the bed. I would recommend the owners invest in an actual bed with a comfortable mattress. The sofa bed is not comfortable for sleeping. Otherwise it’s a great little place in a beautiful location, and the owners are very accommodating."

"The house was perfect for 6 young adults! We were only 5 minutes from Anchor Marina which was perfect for our group. The fire pit and outdoor set up was nice and we had plenty of space for everyone. "

"My family and I rented this property for our daughter's University of Delaware graduation week. We knew it was 40 minutes from campus but wanted a nice place for our family to stay while we were in town. The house is spotless. Cutely decorated. The set up of the house is spacious but cozy at the same time. The hosts were easy and nice to communicate with. They honestly thought of everything, from coffee pods, bag of ice in the freezer, phone chargers, you name it, they had it. "

"One of the best stocked houses we have ever rented, from kitchen items, toiletries to snacks. House was very confortable for the three couples and our dogs who stayed there. Spacious backyard with nice covered seating area, gas grill, and fire pits. Close walk to canal trail, and Canal restaurant "

"The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring."

"Our group of 15 gathered here for a long weekend in July to attend a family event in the area. The house was WONDERFUL, STYLISH & SPACIOUS. And Chesapeake City itself was a surprise bonus… several gift shops, a cute ice cream shop, coffee & breakfast cafe, dinner restaurants - all within walking distance! Loved: everything about the house… proximity to the quaint town… plenty of hot water… awesome AC upstairs…Brad the owner answered emails very quickly… *minor* issues: the main floor AC...

"Beautiful location in the middle of Elk Neck State Park. We slept comfortably and enjoyed our stay. Heads up for travelers (esp city folk!) with small children, don’t forget the tick repellent. We found one on our son who had played in the yard for a short time. "
