"We was in room 5 during the heatwave and the bathroom towel rail would switch off make the heat in the room worse. Told reception about the issue but nothing was done but we was leaving the next day !"

"We have stayed here 4 times for overnight stops. Everything is lovely and clean, staff, for the most part are pleasant and professional - I say for the most part - on our latest visit, we ordered a wine spritzer and specified soda, not lemonade and a half pint of pepsi. We got a spritzer with lemonade and a full pint of pepsi but it was soon sorted.
We have had 4 different rooms out of the 5 that there are, and only one of them was what I would class as too small even for a standard...

"The places was not well equipped, with it being over 30 degrees- only a small fan was placed in room. The windows did not open fully.
No water placed in room knowing it was going to be hot. The outside needs update and not what the photos show.
Breakfast was nice but."

"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"Most of the beer in the bar was off. We asked for an extra fan for the room, it didn't turn up. My wife is a vegan, we asked for oatmilk in the room. That didn't arrive either. To cap it all when we left we were told that we had to pay an extra £55.00 as the price we were quoted was less than what it should have been. Won't be stopping here again."

Host was really friendly and breakfasts were really good.
Large bedroom, plenty of space for clothes.
Right opposite the Abbey and near local amenities.

All members of staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a very tasty and filling breakfast in the morning.
Check-in and check-out were all completed via a text message. Very easy and convenient.
A thumbs up all round. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
My only issue (not with the accommodation) was the mobile phone service in the area was poor on my network. Struggled to get my...
