"Very close to reef terminal for tours. I loved the fact that towels were available as well as a free laundry facility. Staff is often not at the desk but they are often watching CCTV that covers the front desk and come when needed. It is very clean, towels are nice, location is close to many restaurants. They are well organized and check in went well. The rooms are serviced every other day routinely. They did forget my bath towels after service but this was minor in my opinion as you can get...

"The staff was so kind and helpful. Especially Charlotte! The room was very clean and nice. It was located central and close to everything walking. The food was good at the Boardwalk Social and nice ambiance. It was affordable. 26$ for a hamburgar and fries. I would go back for sure. "

"Great location, 5 minutes from esplanade and lagoon pool and dozens of resturants. Spacious modern room. Bit hi tech - took me20 minutes to find the safe and several hours to work out howto turn off the light to the tea/ fridge area! The on site food was a bit basic, I arrived keen for lunch and menue was limited and expensive but all in all a great stay."

"Great hotel, friendly staff, good range of food for buffet breakfast and plenty of dinner options and drinks. Located close to the city centre and the attractions were all within 30 mins. Taxi to centre and lagoon etc range up to $15 depending on time of day. We would definately stay again."

"It’s in a great location right in the heart of the city entertainment area. The room was absolutely stunning and the staff were great. The only slight negative is that we were on level 4 and the rooftop bar was quite loud until after 10pm and then the set up for breakfast (assumption) started about 5.30am."

"We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean and well presented with a balcony. Staff were plesent. Walkable to the beach within a few minutes. There are warning signs on the beach that there are crocodiles. NO walking on the beach and NO swiming. (No i'm not joking)"

"The retro room was so beautiful, especially as we had an ocean view and could have the windows open to hear the ocean and feel the breeze. We were also treated to the acoustic music rambling up the stairwell into our room from the restaurant below. All in all a romantic stay with wonderful staff, food and a very comfortable bed"

"Such an amazing location in Cairns. Rooms were nice and clean. Pool was great. Only complaint, and even then it didn’t affect our stay at all, was the restaurant played loud music a couple nights. But I would stay here again. "
