"What I liked the most is that the entire hotel was built around 10 living palmtrees. Trees are still growing (there are holes for them in the floor between ground floor and the first floor) and providing shade for guests and living room for birds."

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"Hadde et fantastisk fint opphold på Ocean Boutique i sommer. Beliggenheten er helt perfekt - rett på stranden med fantastisk utsikt og enkel tilgang til det indiske hav. Det rolige området gjorde at man virkelig kunne slappe av og nyte ferien uten støy og mas. Hotellet ligger strategisk plassert slik at man får den autentiske strandopplevelsen man drømmer om på Zanzibar. Personalet fortjener en særlig ros og var utrolig hyggelige, hjelpsomme og gjorde alt for at oppholdet skulle bli perfekt....

"Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "
