"Fantastic location, ancient buildings but tastefully remodeled. They upgraded us to apartment with lots of room. We were there during festival but our room was tucked in the back was quiet with great balcony and view. The staff was great, their gym was being renovated so they sent me down to sister hotel. "

"Lovely hotel, with spacious rooms, complimentary mini bar, excellent breakfast and evening food. The bar and restaurant staff couldn’t do enough to help. Would recommend! "

"This hotel is modern, clean, a true home away from home for me. I enjoyed the decor, amenities, comfortable bed, and that it was centrally located within the city. I plan to stay here again in my next trip to Edinburgh."

"I couldn’t believe how beautiful this property is and the attention to detail was impeccable. Even the lounge area with cappuccino, latte, pastries, etc. were a pleasant surprise. It’s in the perfect location too, we walked everywhere without any problems."

"My apartment was impeccable. The faucets were shining! The bathroom and kitchen were spotless. I was very impressed by the quality of the toiletries (sad that they were fixed in the shower and I couldn't take a bit with me!) and the generosity of the kitchen supplies: plenty of coffee and tea! For a small space it had absolutely everything I could have needed: hair dryer, safe, ironing board, every essential kitchen necessity: colander, cutting knives, measuring cup, tea pot and kettle, toaster...

"Lovely big apartment. Mattress was a bit thin / hard for my liking. Well kitted out kitchen - but no mugs! Big living room area and great shower"

"The 2 bedroom unit was spacious with 2 bathrooms and a/c in the bedrooms. Everything very clean. Larger bedroom had 2 twins pushed together and its own bathroom. Other one had full bed. Generous kitchen with everything needed if want to cook a little and settle in. For those with mobility issues - note 2 sets of stairs before one get's to elevator (3 front treads and then another 15). Milk in the frig was welcome (but did not get the basket of goodies other reviewers mentioned). Nice robes,...

"Great apartment! Even nicer in person than I could have imagined from the photos, which already gave a good impression. Was pleasantly surprised to see my unit had two full bathrooms! For a one bedroom, that was awesome. Wish I could've stayed longer than a day, because it makes a nice retreat. The base of the kitchen sink was the main thing noticeably dirty, which was unfortunate to see. But didn't take away from the whole experience. 15/1 and 15/2 have a deep stairway to get to the apt,...
