"stayed here the same day as the person who left a 2/10 review. not sure what they were talking about. the value for the price was great. my room and the rest of the hotel was very clean (and smelled normal!). the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. it's also very clear when you book that it's an independent hotel, the travel lodge sign is really irrelevant if you can follow simple directions! all in all it was a really lovely stay and i would return. the bed was super comfy too! and...

"The room was spacious and very clean. Smelled fresh and clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Keurig, microwave and a good size fridge/freezer. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again. "

"The staff was very nice and friendly! We brought our two small dogs with us, that's one of the main reasons we chose this place. We all felt very welcome. The place is located very close to the lake and there are a lot of restaurants near by. The room was clean and warm. Thanks!"

"Some things were dated but I can say honestly it was one of the best motels I’ve stayed in and I would stay there again. Some things were dated but all well cared for and it was very clean. The floor was new laminate, bed sheets were fresh and crisp and white, mattress was very comfortable, pillows were great. Heat is self-controlled electric baseboard heaters and we were able to make the place nice and warm. "
