New Listing! Our 3rd season! Come lease our large 5 bedroom home with direct lakefront access with boat dock on a private cove with easy access to Lake Norman. All new furnishings (May 2023) with all the comforts of home featuring a fully kitchen with dishes, utensils, cookware, small appliances, spices, bath towels, linens, and pillows, comfy hybrid mattress beds, books and games, a full-size pool table, 2 slot machines, lots of outdoor seating, firepit and kayaks. Our home is peaceful and serene where you can go to get away from it all, but with easy access to all that Lake Norman and its surrounding communities have to offer.

This home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac street within an established upscale, wooded neighborhood offering lakefront views from most of the rooms. Neighbors are not to be disturbed.

This home features large, open concept entertaining areas both upstairs and downstairs with 10-foot ceilings throughout offering lake views from almost every room. The outdoor space is professionally designed and landscaped. Your retreat is professionally cleaned with Anti-disinfectants which will be used before and after every booking to ensure the highest level of sanitation.

Our spacious 4,000 sf retreat features a cozy living room with gas fireplace, a modern kitchen with beautiful stonework and island featuring stainless steel appliances, counter seating and a dining table all with views of the lake. Enjoy our coffee/tea bar for those needing an extra boost in the morning! Walkout to a raised composite deck with plenty of seating and a dining table with umbrella for the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail while staring at the tranquil waters of the cove. The kitchen features all brand new (May 2023) cookware and bakeware, silverware, dinnerware, utensils, glasses, mugs. Major appliances include a French-door refrigerator/freezer, an electric stove and dishwasher. Small appliances include a toaster, microwave oven, an air fryer and a Keurig coffee maker.

Our dining room has seating for 6. There are 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

All guests staying will be provided with:
* A starter kit consisting of paper towels, dish detergent, toilet paper, laundry detergent, fabric sheets etc.

* Please let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion.

When it’s time to relax, you can rest easy on either of our two ultra-comfortable King-size mattresses (DOUBLE MASTERS!) each with waterfront views and walk-out deck access. One master features a private full bath with a large, jetted tub and walk-in closet. A queen bedroom and a full hallway bath rounds up the main level of the home. On the lower level there is a bedroom with 2 full beds and another bedroom with twin bunk beds and a daybed with pop-up trundle (both twins).

We provide extra towels/washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap to keep you fresh. You will also find an iron and ironing board to have you looking your best!

During your stay, you will also have everything you need to stay connected to work or leisure with WiFi and a large desk. ** Please note this a more rural area and the WiFi is satellite-based and not very strong. Multiple users will encounter lag. Bad weather may impact WiFi capabilities. Three smart TVs featuring satellite (DishTV) with streaming available (you will have to use your own streaming accounts). In addition, your retreat features keyless entry and ample parking for guests in the driveway. Please no street parking overnight.

A large recreational room on the lower level features beautiful lake views with direct walk-out access and features a a large pool table and 2 slot machines filled with coins! We also have books, puzzles and board games to keep you occupied during a rainy day or chilly evening. This recreational room also features a full-size bar area with seating for 5, an extra fridge and a temperature-controlled wine cellar. A sofa and loveseat are situated around a gas fireplace with a 65” TV. A full bath is also located on the lower level.

Outside enjoy a custom-built table that can accommodate 12 people, a fire pit, BBQ and a covered boat dock with seating. The fire pit will be an evening hit to relive the glory days and roast s’mores. Kayaks and other water toys and yard games are available for guests to use during your stay.

The dock is located in a NO WAKE ZONE (5 MPH) and is great for swimming, with ladder access from the water. When using motorized watercraft, please observe the NO WAKE rules within the cove. Our HOA is very strict and many of our neighbors on the cove have video cameras. When operating watercraft, please stay to the right of the buoys on the right in the cove, there are a series of large rocks, tree trunks in the middle. Please exercise caution when navigating within this area. The water depth around our dock area is approximately 4-5 feet deep. A pontoon boat is recommended (top down when entering and exiting the bridge underpass). You will have the outer slip of our dock to tie up.

You can also get to many waterfront restaurants and islands on the lake within a 10-20 minute boat ride. For boat/jet ski and paddleboard rentals we recommend the following companies, most can deliver right to the dock:

Please note, boat and jet ski rentals are very popular and book up fast. We suggest calling as soon as possible to secure your rental.

Washer and dryer on-site. Security cameras are located outside on this property. The home has a security system with fire/smoke detectors monitored by a 3rd party security company. Touchscreen thermostats on both levels control both the heat and central air conditioning. Ceiling fans appear throughout the property.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- Service dogs and emotional support animals are welcome. A $100+tax non-refundable one-time charge will be added to your rental. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Please let us know ahead of time if you are bringing a pet.
- There is a slow gradual slope down to the boat dock area consisting of rocks and patio blocks.
- The twin bunk beds are for children 6 years of age and older only. Please exercise caution when using the bunk beds.
- Our neighbors are full-time residents, and we take great care to be good neighbors. We expect our guests to observe nighttime outdoor quiet hours (10pm-8am) and be respectful of other residents. Sorry, we do not allow parties, weddings (large or small), or events for this reason. Neighbors are not to be disturbed.
- Garbage must be disposed of at the Sherrill’s Ford Trash and Recycling Center located at 8876 Sherrill’s Ford Road, Sherrill’s Ford (approx. 7 miles away). This center is open Thursday-Sunday from 10am-6pm (closed on Federal holidays). There is a $2 per bag fee. Absolutely no garbage is to be left in the bins or anywhere in the home.
- We maintain a smoke free home, smoking inside the home is strictly prohibited. No exceptions. Fireworks and discharge of firearms is strictly prohibited.

Important: We are committed to protecting our home. Primary renter must be 25 years or older and must be present for the entire stay. Please be advised Name on Credit Card MUST MATCH NAME ON RESERVATION or risk being canceled automatically. Billing address MUST MATCH ID. By agreeing to stay at our property, you and your family are agreeing to a short-term lease of the property to be used for residential purposes only and for a period of time as agreed upon in your booking.

We take great pride in our home and the landscaping areas, please be sure to treat our home and grounds respectfully. We are confident that our retreat will serve as a great home base for your family to enjoy a relaxing and memorable vacation. Neighbors are not to be disturbed. Please do not use any of the common areas of the neighborhood.

The property was just as we wanted. The owners went over the top to make our stay comfortable. Since it was Thanksgiving, they made sure we had banking pans, plenty of storage containers, foil, wrap and related. Treats were welcomed as well as the K cups. The kitchen was excellent, there was not a single pot, pan, utensil and related that we were looking for. The waterfront "toys" were a hit with the children, an unexpected bonus.

My NC and TN family joined us for a long weekend at the property and we had a great time. The house is spacious and beautiful, and is on a quieter part of the lake, but still close enough to local marinas and restaurants to make it convenient. We all enjoyed it very much.

This place was fantastic and the owners were very responsive to our questions. The home was well equipped both inside and out. We really enjoyed the lake and boats that were part of the rental. The best part of our visit was finding the secret waterfall... Amazing
