"Enjoyed a stay on a quiet part of the lake. The front patio was great for outdoor dinner and sitting by the fire watching the stars at night. Hosts were terrific, always available to answer questions. Would recommend!"

"It is so beautiful here and super close to Tech! We really enjoyed the property, the location, and the outdoor area to hang out was perfect with the fire pit, horses, and tables! We really enjoyed ourselves!"

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"Cozy feeling to the cabin..beautiful, peaceful setting on the lake. We saw deer walking through the yard! So amazing! Will definitely return for another stay. We hosted a family cookout for about 12 people, and one family member requested information and interest about property for his own famiky getaway. The hist was always prompt about answering all questions we had. Really enjoyed our stay"

"A very nice house to stay for the weekend, it was clean and had a wonderful view. Walking down to the river was not bad but I would recommend the host really fix up a trail/path down that hill. Kayaks were nice to use, fishing was fun, hot tub worked great, beds were comfy, couches were comfy, house was awesome! "

"My wife and I stayed at Blackberry Bungalow at the end of July and could not have been happier with our experience - all expectations were exceeded. The location of the home, the neighborhood, proximity to the water and to local trails were all outstanding. The home was clean, beautifully set up, perfectly designed and exceeded all of our needs. "Wonderful house, great stay. So peaceful with gorgeous views, deer everywhere. House has absolutely everything you need and the arcade games and air hockey were so fun. We were staying for a wedding at the state park and it was convenient for family to come in and out and the bride to get ready. Lots of folks in and out and never felt crowded. We enjoyed it and would definitely stay again! Host was very prompt to respond to questions."

"This is our second time to stay at this home for our annual family reunion. We are a large group and the home accommodated us beautifully. We especially enjoyed the covered porch - it had lots of seating and a pretty view of the property. The large yard was fun for corn hole competitions. Our family also enjoyed walking, jogging, and biking on the Huckleberry trail, conveniently accessed from the end of the driveway. "We had a wonderful time at this “cabin.” The outdoor space is just unbelievable- so much space to spread out and enjoy sun or shade. The host has thought of so many extras… And special welcome baskets were a nice touch! Beds were very comfy, and the bathrooms were spotless. "The bus was cute, a lot of reviews are complaining about bugs and spiders, but I don't know what people are expecting with a bus in the woods. There's also a lot of complaints about mould on the curtains, however the state is humid and I didn't see any mould, just rust stains on the curtains.
