"This incredible piece of historyay not be right for someone that wants access to room service and additional amenities, but if you're looking for a rustic, nature-filled experience, THIS IS IT!!! There are deer, many beautiful birds, butterflies, etc. The cabin is immaculate and has everything you need for a great experience. I marvel that it was built in 1790! If I'm lucky enough, maybe I'll get to stay again sometime. "

"My wife, my dog and I stayed 3 nights. Minutes away from Nashville Speedway and the Indy car race. Very quiet and secluded. Cabin had all that was advertised. No problem finding the cabin with GPS. All you need to bring is food and clothing and you're good to go. Would be great for parents and a couple of children. Wish we could stay longer and wouldn't hesitate visiting again. Do it ... you won't be disappointed, "

Could use a fresh up inside of house before guests arrive. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and dead bugs on the floor. Get ride of bath mat in upstairs bathroom."

"House is beautiful nice and clean. Even though I don’t have a dog I thought it was nice to have essentials for people who have dogs. Bed sleeps wonderful . Deck is beautiful and washer and dryer easily accessible. Would recommend "

"The property was spacious and breathtaking! Lot's of wildlife and right on the lake. Short drive to all popular destinations, but much needed to rest and relax! Awesome experience!"

"We enjoyed our stay, the camper is clean and had a nice view of the woods. The pond is across the street and down the hill, with a cute swing, and a nice spot to fish. The owners we're fun, and inviting. We would totally hang out with them again!"

"The house was perfect for our family. We had six adult and four children. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The kids loved playing in the hot tub. We had a bonfire at night and made s’mores. We have already booked another long weekend for 2026. Can’t wait to go back."

"Such a beautiful place to stay! The cabin was extremely clean and felt like home to us while we were there. The time and love that has gone into this rental shines through in every part of the cabin. Joy was such a lovely lady to speak with, and if we're ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again! "
