Your group’s comfort is our highest priority in this brand-new custom home in Virginia’s favorite beach town. Enjoy generous living areas with breathtaking views of the Chesapeake Bay from sunrise to world-class sunsets. Bring the whole family – an elevator ensures effortless transport of people, luggage, and food to 3 floors of designer furniture, local artwork, and plenty of room to dine, play, and relax. This coastal chic home offers the perfect blend of communal space and privacy. (Sleeps 16)

Every bedroom in this home has an attached bathroom and each suite offers something special, Three suites offer bay views with one designed for accessibility. The bunk room has 5 custom x-long beds, each with a lamp and charging station, and a 55” TV perfect for movies or gaming after a long day on the beach. The suite with a queen bed and bunks is perfect for a family. The expansive 2nd floor great room is a space for your entire group to relax and connect while enjoying the phenomenal view. The large, two-island kitchen has high-end appliances including a 48” range with griddle and two dishwashers, a huge pantry, gourmet coffee station and cocktail bar with sink and extra fridge. The enormous custom-built dining table seats 12. Enjoy the views and the fireplace from the large sofas or work a puzzle in the adjacent library.

Catch the bay breeze on one of the 3 beach-side porches, and grill local seafood and vegetables on the generous patio using the grill and outdoor seafood burner. The second-floor screened porch contains a large table and plenty of additional seating for al-fresco dining. The 2 top-floor bayside bedrooms open onto a deck that is perfect watching boats, the sunset, and the stars.. The backyard offers a custom putting green and plenty of room for games (provided). Supply beachgoers with drinks from the full-size refrigerator in the “sand room,” where they can toss their towels and suits into the large washer. There is easy access from the beach to the half-bath and outdoor shower. Sunset Shores is well-equipped inside and out. The garage has sports equipment including standup paddleboards, kayaks, bicycles, tennis & pickleball rackets, beach chairs and sand toys. Inside you’ll find a wide selection of board games, puzzles and books and beach towels and blankets for guest use.

Located in Marina Village, Sunset Shores is in a gated community a short distance from downtown Cape Charles. Golf carts are available for rent or ride a bike to downtown. Fine dining, art galleries, a pharmacy, clothing, and boutique stores await. Guests have free access to the Bay Creek amenities that include the private community pool (in season), tennis & pickle ball courts, nature trails and the private beaches.

We offer convenient door codes for self-check-in. Chesapeake Properties by Portoro uses convenient keyless entry for self check-in, details provided 2 weeks (or less) prior to arrival by email and text message.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

• While the complimentary resort amenities of the Bay Creek Resort are included, please note the Members Life Center is not available to guests.

When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: In the State of Virginia and in Northampton County, all hotel and vacation rental hosts are required to collect hotel tax. We collect these taxes within the booking transaction.
- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs, or access to communal pools. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.
- This is a No Pets property. A daily rate fee of $150.00 will apply for violations and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.

This house is a 10/10 and worth every penny. We loved all the spaces outside and in even in January! It is top shelf and Christie could not have been more accommodating! Book this house!
