"Nice clean room, night manager was excellent when we checked in late. Only strange thing is the maid didn't clean our room when we left for the day. She did put the "Do not disturb sign" to make it look like there was a reason it wasn't clean."

"everyone was very attentive and friendly. Love Ms Karen at the breakfast bar, she was amazing , friendly and very helpful with the waffle making. The housekeeping staff kept our room with clean towels and clean wastebasket . Thank you all very much . We couldn't control our AC when we arrive but once it got cold outside we called and a young man came and got the heat working so all was well. "

"Loved our stay at the historic Court House, beautifully restored as the Abner Inn. Service was excellent, dinner was equally fantastic, service was super. Staying in the beautiful village of Litchfield is always a special treat for my wife and I as we love stopping in the Village Pub for a drink and to taking a drive to Lake Waramaug and the beautiful New Preston village. We will be back to the Abner in a few weeks!"

"If your looking for a hotel stay just to basically use as a place to sleep this place is excellent. Its a small family run no frills hotel. Rooms are very clean, staff is very nice. "

"Beautiful, beautiful hotel and outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Not only was my room designed impeccably and clean, but there were free waters, snacks and freshly baked cookies available upon arrival. Their breakfast was outstanding (and free) and they had coffee, beverages and snacks available at all times of day - something almost all other hotels will charge you for.
